Shiyuan Jing gained her L.L.M and JSD degree from Berkeley Law, University of California at Berkeley and continued her research in environmental law as a postdoc and assistant researcher in Koguan School of Law, Shanghai Jiaotong University. In 2018, she started an internship for the Governor’s Office, California and participated in the 2018 Global Climate Action Summit. Her article “Thinking Globally, Acting Locally: Lessons from the U.S., Japan, and China” with Professor Daniel A. Farber and Professor Yuichiro Tsuji was published in the Ohio State Law Journal. Her article “The Role of Program Evaluation in China’s Environmental Policy” was published in the Environmental Law Reporter.
